RAP (Rehabilitation Appliances Programme) is an Australian Government program, administered by the Department of Veterans' Affairs, which provides a broad range of aids and appliances to eligible members of the veteran community to help them maintain their independence as they grow older. There are several product groupings which come under RAP, one of which is the 'Mobility & Functional Support' (MFS) group. This group of products is where Cosmac’s expertise plays a vital role in this program. There are four national contractors to this program, two of which Cosmac is an appointed Sub-Contractor on both a State and National Basis. The two contactors that we are associated with, at different levels are Aidacare and Paraquad. With Paraquad we are more of a supplier of these products within our geographical locale, whereas with Aidacare we are assigned to both supply and administer the billing process of supplies made by other sub-contractors and by other general suppliers. All this is within the scope of our areas of expertise in the 'Mobility & Functional Support' (MFS) group of products.
